Kenneth A. Kelly
Kenneth "Ken" A. Kelly, 79, of Stilesville, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday evening, January 25, 2012 following a lengthy illness. Born in Stilesville, he was the son of the late Leslie and Ina (Hicks) Kelly. Ken was a retired farmer and former maple syrup producer. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, fishing, watching hockey (especially his Toronto Maple Leafs), attending fall fairs and exhibitions, socializing with his neighbors and spending quality time with his family.
Ken will be sadly missed by his wife of over 57 years, Marie (Briggs) Kelly; his children, Kathleen (Kathy) Leeman (David), Steven (Kim) and Craig (Melanie), all of Stilesville; precious grandchildren, Leslie, Tyler, Kyle and Brady; cherished great granddaughter, Emily; sisters, Viola Groundwater, Moncton and Ruth Murray (Paul), Lower Coverdale; brothers, Bradley (Jeanne), Moncton, Weymond (Pearl), Riverview and Charles (Carol), Irishtown; brother-in-law, Douglas Letterick, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Julia, Annie, Henrietta, Leta, Zelda and one brother, Richard.
No public visitation hours or funeral service. Private family service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), on Sunday January 29, 2012, 2:00 pm. Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Interment, Stilesville Cemetery.
