Dale S. Sutherland

Dale S. Sutherland, 57, of Dover, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Born in Moncton, he was the son of George S. and Shirley J. (Dobson) Sutherland of Dover. Dale was a mechanic and truck driver and a member of Highfield Baptist Church, the NB Salmon Federation, NB Hunters Association and a former member of the Dieppe Fly Tying Club. He was an avid outdoors person and fisherman and he enjoyed fly tying, working on his computer and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dale will be sadly missed by his wife of 27 years, Darlene (Hicks); brother, Dannie (Cathy), Dover; niece, Amanda; nephew, Bradley; grand niece, Teagan; grand nephew, Hunter; special members of the family, Ruth Dobson and Emily Dobson of Stittsville, ON; several aunts, an uncle and cousins.

Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, August 27, 2010, 11:00 am, Rev. Dr. Robert Knowles officiating. Interment, Dover Baptist Cemetery.
