Pauline "Peggy" L. Lane

Pauline “Peggy” L. Lane, 82, of Lakeview Tower, Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 22, 2010 following a brief illness. Born in Weymouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late George and Leota (Moore) Muir. Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and attended Bethel Baptist Church, Pine Glen. She enjoyed playing bingo, socializing with her friends in the Lakeview Tower Games Room, was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan, a strong supporter of her grandchildren in their various sporting activities and spending precious time with her family.

Peggy will be sadly missed by her daughters, Marion Price (Dennis), Riverview, Leona Jones (Gordon), Calgary, AB, Linda Till (Jim), Pine Glen, Darlene Wilkins (Larry), Pine Glen and Margaret Weir (Craig LeBlanc), Riverview; sons, Keith (Gail), Dawson Settlement and Robert (Nancy Lewis), Salisbury; 22 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kimberly Steeves.

Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, August 26, 2010, 11:00 am, Pastor James Eagles officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
