Frederick "Fred" W. Horsman
Frederick “Fred” W. Horsman, 82, of Riverview and formerly of Hamilton, ON, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, August 12, 2010. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Cecil and Georgina (Mullins) Horsman. Fred was retired from Stelco Steel and Westinghouse Ltd., Hamilton and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the R.C.R. in the United Nations Force. He loved to play crib, going to Tim Horton’s and spending precious time with his family and friends.

Fred will be sadly missed by his "special guardian angel", niece, Darlene Richardson (David) of Riverview and special nieces, Sheilla Colpitts (Brian) and Gail LeBlanc (Don), both of Moncton; stepson, David Graham (Clare), London, ON; step grandchildren, Jeff, Tom and Tim; sisters, Hilda Lutes, Salisbury, Irma Hicks, Moncton, Muriel Cromwell, Petitcodiac, Gladys Arsenault, Moncton; brother, Willard (Elsie), Bridgewater; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his wife, Vera Margaret Horsman (1999) and brothers, Raymond and Donald.

In honoring Fred’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Interment, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton, ON.

Donations in Fred’s memory to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
