Eileen V. Roper

Eileen V. Roper, 67, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday evening, August 8, 2010 following a lengthy illness. Born in Tabusintac, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Adella (Stymiest) Murray. Eileen was retired from W.H. Goodwin & Associates with 21 years service and was a member of Mount Royal United Church. She enjoyed playing bridge, card games and travelling. Eileen was a very proud sports mom and she and Ron followed their sons through their many sporting endeavours. She enjoyed spending precious time with her family and friends and her home was always a welcome place to be.

Eileen will be sadly missed by her loving husband of over 44 years, Ronald (Ron) G. Roper and their sons, Steven (Kelly), Shediac Cape, Jeffery (Becky), Brewer, ME, Scott (Janelle), Moncton; her precious granddaughters, Hailey and Grace; sisters, Roberta Dupuis (Roger), Dieppe, Evelyn Phinney (Dave), Moncton, Genevieve Nuss (Bryan), Moncton; brother, Myles Murray (Sheila), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Karen and brother, Eldon.

Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service, Mount Royal United Church, Thursday, August 12, 2010, 11:00 am, Rev. Brett Anningson officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
