Truman E. Horsman, 88, of Moncton, with family members at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, August 6, 2010 following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Whitfield and Martilla (Lutz) Horsman. Truman worked for CN Rail for 44 years and retired as Supervisor in the Storage Dept. He was a member of First Baptist Church, as well as a member of several church groups. Truman was a former member of Prince Albert Lodge I.O.F., the Air Force Veterans Club and the Moncton Flying Club. and was a Veteran of WWII, having served overseas with the R.C.A.F.

Truman will be sadly missed by his daughter, Debora, Moncton; sons, Ronald and David (Shary), both of Moncton; grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Katy and Kyle; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Rhoda Elizabeth (Betty) (MacMinn) Horsman (September 1994); son, Rodney; brother, Leonard.

No visitation or funeral service by personal request. Private family graveside service to be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. Dr. Richard Jackson officiating.

In Truman’s memory, donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
