Gerard J. Fougere

Gerard J. Fougere, 87, of Moncton, with his family at his side, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Jim and Matilda (Peter) Fougere. Gerard was retired from the CNR, was a Veteran of WWII and served with the Canadian Army.

Gerard will be sadly missed by his partner, Dorothy Watson; daughter, Lorraine LeBlanc (Louis Phillip), Saint John; son, Alfred Fougere (Susan), Saint John; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Emma Bourque, Shediac; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, predeceased by sisters, Angelina, Loretta; brothers, Leonide, Euclide.

Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Saturday, 9:00 to 10:00 am. Moncton Legion # 6 Memorial Service, 10:00 am Saturday, November 22, 2008, followed immediately by the funeral service, conducted by Rev. Bernard Sloan. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
